When to check?
There is no set time on when to check your breasts, but it is a good idea to check once a month. Its important that to get to know what your breasts feel like throughout your cycle and at different stages of your life, so you can spot changes that are not normal for you. When doing a monthly breast check, if you have periods, try to check when your cycle ends, when your breasts are less likely to be swollen and tender. To set up text reminders, you can do this via the link below.

When to contact a GP
• A lump or swelling in your breast, chest or armpit.
• You have any changes in your breasts, chest or nipples that arent normal for you.
• You have a pain in your breast or armpit that does not go away.
These symptoms, including breast lumps, are common and can be caused by a range of other conditions.
They do not necessarily mean you have breast cancer, but it’s important to have them checked by a GP.
