A Message From Dr Jeremy Maynard

After nearly 25 years working as a GP in North Somerset, I have decided to leave Tyntesfield Medical Group. My time as a GP has seen immense changes which have made the role today very different from what it was when I started- as most obviously illustrated over the last few years by the challenges of the Covid Pandemic. For the past 10 years I have been fortunate to have worked with the incredible team at Tyntesfield Medical Group. It has been immensely gratifying to work alongside such a group of supportive, enthusiastic people who value high quality patient care as much as I do.

I have always felt that being a GP, with the chance to care for and get to know some truly wonderful patients, was a privilege. I would like to thank each of you for the opportunity I have been given to get to know and care for you. I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that you will continue to be cared for by the Backwell Team.

No matter what the future brings I will treasure the time I have had with Tyntesfield Medical Group and I would like to wish you all the very best of health and happiness in the future.

We are fortunate at TMG to have a range of clinicians who can help you in addition to your GP or nurse. For instance, your problem may be better assessed by our First Contact Physiotherapist, Dietician or Mental health worker. When you call to book an appointment, you will be asked a few questions by the receptionists to make sure we get you to the best and most appropriate person to deal with your problem
